My Thinkpad 600 video board has its moments, I get the impression that the
Neo Magic is cheap & nasty. I ended up putting Win2000Pro on it as Kde 3.5
from slackware - the screen had heavy lines down it - was unreadable.
Stangely enough it is stable with Pro 2000, even though the machine was
built for win98. (I have the original restore cd.)
