Default newbie Enterprise 3000 storage question

I might get my hands on an Enterprise 3000 server and am wondering
what my options are to use the included SCA drives and chassis with a
faster SCSI interface. I see the stock unit is SCSI-2 fast/wide, or
20MB/sec. If a PCI SCSI card is put in that is also on a 68-pin
interface, can it use the bus for the SCA drives or am I completely
off-base? Of course I would find SCA drives that are compatable with
the faster standard (ie Wide Ultra2 SCSI) -

Please cc my mail address on replies and thanks for the help!

Best,
d.
