The Blade 1000 has large "controlled" fans and the U10 small and
stupid ones.
So unless you run into a Solaris problem they should be
pretty good. The Blade 1000 is a beast until booted.

The U10 has a weird high pitched noise while the Blade 1000 is
more of a breezer. Note though, if you have very old 10k disks in
your Blade 1000 it might be worhhwhile to upgrade them.
The old ones might produce more noise.

For me the Blade 1000 is much easier to my ears.
