I am trying to initialize a new hard disk Seagate ST12400N on HP 715/50
Workstation with HP-UX 9.03.
If it type the
ioscan -f command

For instance, on my system, for a disk at SCSI ID 2, the relevant output
line looks like this:
Class H/W Path Driver H/W Status S/W Status
================================================== ===
disk 2.0.1.2.0 scsi ok(0x202) ok
if I typediskinfo -v /dev/dsk/c201d2s0
or

mediainit -v /dev/dsk/c201d2s0
commans
in both cases the output is

can't open file /dev/dsk/c201d2s0 - Device busy

can you help me?
