You have noted that this is a 64 bit version build for PA 2.0 architecture ?

The number is the process ID (PID). It usually is incremented (modulo still running PIDs) for each process started by the OS, until it "wraps around".

If you try to use it on a PA 1.x machine or on a machine with no 64 Bit support in the kernel, it is bound to crash.
Could this be the problem ?
