Well, I don't know what You downloaded but HP-UX is payware, that means You
can't download it for free legally.

I don't know if Linux supports the c3000.

HP-UX 10.20, 11.0 and 11i all run on the c3000.

Then You should buy it, at least a CD kit. Goes cheap on ebay regularly.
Don't go for 10.20 since it's out of support for some time now.
