This is a red herring...

Someone installed a linux vmware server on a PC which does an
"autoconnect" to an AIX server. They labeled the tab AIX 4.33. vmWare
absolutely will NOT run AIX. Other discussions about Itanium are moot
as well because AIX 5.1 (not 4.33) was the only version of AIX which
ran Itanium.

Throw this topic in the bit bucket and move on.
