Just as a side note:
I ran into trouble quite a few years ago upgrading a node via NFS
install. A fileset was overwritten (TCP or NFS from memory) and the
upgrade hung. It took a while to recover, longer than a straight
forward upgrade. From experience I would recommend to keep filesets
local on disk or DVD/CD and use the console or if you have quite a few
AIX nodes pester your boss to buy a NIM server
To find some space, you could check to see if you have any applied
software. If so commit them. it may get you some space.
