Any SCSI drive previously used in a Micro$oft environment needs to be
run through a DOS fdisk removing all the partitions. I've found a low
level format won't even run if there's partition on the disks with
some SCSI controllers.
Do low level format the drive first it's the safest bet. I'd also use
9g drives rather than 4.3g. 4.3 is a bad size unless you select 16mb
PP size if you select something smaller you may not be able to add a
larger drive to the VG in the future.
