As far as I'm aware, no harm has ever come of it ('sys' doesn't have
access to much more than the audio devices, so it's not a huge security
risk). If you really want to, you can chgrp the audio devices to a
group called 'audio' or something similar (after creating it) and add
any users allowed to play sounds to that group.
