When using xine to watch movies, after a length of time [variable],
xine will lock up, but not thrash the cpu. Then i'll try to kill all xine
procs with kill -9, and there are always two left. They then start to
consume entire sys of CPU, although does not affect and will not be
killed by user or root. I have to reboot to get rid of the 2 procs. I have
never had to reboot before in enable to get rid of a crashed proc. All
this has happened since swaret upgraded to kde 3.2
[xfree86 4.3.0, kde 3.2, xine 0.9.23]
Any suggestions as to the cause of this would be greatly appreciated.
