Hi,
1) have u try setting the fstype to auto (autodetect) rather than ext3?
2) if your last mount for that drive is using root, I suggest you detach
then attach the device, reason being that all permission on that drive will
becomes only accessible to root, you will have a permission denied error
even if you managed to mount it successfully. and it doesn't matter if your
have set the permission to 777 for the device, during mount time, the
permission will change depending on the environment.
