What do you use on the VT? A raw VGA console? The rivafb driver for
framebuffer? Generic framebuffer? IIUIC, the problems that people have
been reporting switching between X and the VC while running the NVIDIA
proprietary drivers have generally been attributed to some conflict
between the NVIDIA X driver and the rivafb driver.

Anyone have comments on that? Anyone running a plain VGA console and
*still* having problems? I'd like to know, because I've been holding
off on upgrading to the newest version of the evil NVIDIA binary-only
driver for just this reason but, if the VC switching problem truly
doesn't affect those who run a raw VGA console, then I should be OK.

ciao,
Jonathan
