I've actually installed both ATI and nVidia's binary drivers in Slack 9.1
(one on my system at work, and on my system at home), and I agree with
Scrooge, in Slackware, the nVidia drivers are *much* easier to install
than ATI's.
I also applaud nVidia for making the extra effort to write an installer
that isn't "rigged" to favor one distro over another. I support that!
