I disagree. This has been an interesting dialectic. I've learned about the
issues of package management and how they relate to other distros as well as
Slack. And I've learned how important this issue is to a lot of people. And
I've found it intereting to see how on even the most mundane of topics (like
PMs) some of the folks here have the need to get personal, insulting, vulger,
and even intimidating.

I think this thread has shown the best and worst of the Slack "community" and
I think it shows a user-base that is far from united on this issue (or any
other issues for that matter.) I often believe that the only thing that two
Slack users can agree on is the spelling of the product's name!
