Rich Grise <null@example.net> says...

>Oh, _that_ spam.

You can apologize for saying that I was wrong now...

Yes. That Spam. The one that you quoted in full. The one that you
didn't realize that you had quoted in full because I purposely didn't
quote anything from your post - after all, you keep saying things like
"Yes, but if you're following the thread, you've just read that post."
But you *didn't* just read that post when you replied, did you? You
are quite simply wrong when you make such claims.

>BTW, how does quoting what you're responding to (which you seem
>to have done as well) "benefit the spammer?"

[1] Spammer spams.

[2] Rich Grise quotes spam in full, including where to send the
money and what web page to go to to get more info.

[3] Spam is canceled and filtered by most news servers.

[4] Rich Grise's reply is not canceled or filtered, so the spammer's
message is read by many more people.

When I quoted your post (as a result of you forgetting that you sent
it; how can that be if you "just read that post" as you claim always
happens?) I obfuscated the part that says where to send the money and
what web page to go to to get more info. Thus I, unlike you, did not
advertise the spammer's services.

>And didn't anybody get the joke, for heaven't sakes?

Having someone flame me without cause over what should be a civil
discussion on an issue we disagree about tends to make me less
receptive to that person's jokes.
