I have always been able to use xfree86setup and it worked fine. So
naturally I tried xorgsetup and got the same result you did. I used
my old conf file and it is fine. Should X -configure work with
xorg. I tried it and got the same error that xorgsetup did. Must
be some problems with their setup tools in xorg.
