Default Port Forwarding

Hi Slackware Community,

I have an problem with my little Home Network wich looks like this :

I have an old Laptop (DX66) as my router/Firewall and an Pentium200 as
my Web/FTP server.
My firewall is the gShield script wich is btw. superb imho.

Now this firewall has the option to do Port Forwarding wich i configged
also in the config file.
Forward mydns:21 -> 192.168.0.6:21
(The Router hasn't an FTP running.
If i try to connect from the outside on this FTP the connection is being
refused. (Not if i OPEN the Port instead of Forwarding.)

I asked an friend who uses OpenBSD as OS and said he has an NATD Daemon
running.
Do i need also an NATD Daemon to run on my Fresh Slackware 9.1 Installment ?

Any help appreciated and Thank you in advance

Regards, hanfsome.
