My next excuse - when you post at groups.google.com, it says it
can take fromd 3 to 9 hours for your post to appear. Admittedly,
by the fact that it got that far, it should be clear that yes,
it works; but I also had an experience some months ago where
it said it couldn't post to the NG, but that may have been a
typo on my part ... - Now I remember! It wouldn't let me post
to alt.binaries.schemats.electronic.

It's the .binaries.
