I have a canon BJC 3000 connected locally by parallel cable. I am
trying to configure it with the GUI on the panel with cups. It does
not give me options to configure it under a parallel cable? Only
serial, USB and scsi.
If I send this command to the printer as root "ls > /dev/lp0" the
printer will start up. Wish that really meant something to me.
I have searched but can't find any thing that helps.
