Can't say, Rich. I eschew scroll mice and their ilk in favor of old
3-button rats. But, as you point out, just copy over whatever worked for
you before, be it a few lines or the whole file. In my case the defaults
for 10 were not viable because I'm a geezer and I wanted 800x600 only, with
no virtual desktop, which the xorg defaults don't deliver. But, I still
have to do a little tweaking, as xorg now provides 32bit depth, which my old
script does not. .
