I did the test as requested and Pan hangs every time I try to send the
message. I have to go to a console and do "killall pan".

I've noticed this often before but hadn't identified the conditions.

I also have a problem doing an initial post if I don't intentionally wrap
the text using the little page-wrap icon on the icon bar of the
compose-message window.

Any fixes would be greatly appreciated. I like Pan, but I don't think I
can put up with this very often.
