Default Fixed pkgtool script needs testing

Hi there

A number of people have noticed that the pkgtool in Slackware-current
does not work properly with packages that fail to follow the standard
install/slack-desc format.

Checkinstall is a culprit for making packages that are broken in this
manner.

A new version of pkgtool may be found here:
ftp://ftp.armedslack.org/armedslack-...ls/pkgtool.new

The current version of pkgtool in Slackware-current is about to be
reverted to its previous incarnation (far slower) for the release of
Slackware 10.1.

Please can those people who have had problems with pkgtool and broken packages
please test the new version above, and report any problems to Jim Hawkins
(whose address is in the change history at the head of the script).
Please do *not* email Pat -- he's busy working hard at getting 10.1 released :-)

Once we're satisfied that it works, it'll go into Slackware-current (post-10.1).

Thanks.
