The development of the linux kernel project does not drive the development
of the GCC project and vice versa. There are big changes in the gcc project
after version 2.95.3 that may cause errors when compiling the linux kernel
with a later version. ie The linux kernel project maintainers use gcc 2.95.3
for a clean of compile the kernel.
