A friend of mine talked me into taking Slackware 9.1 for a test Drive
I normally run Mandrake 10.1 with no problems to speak of.
I have a HP Pavilion 520n
512 meg RAM
On board Video (intel 810 chipset)

The install went quite well. I chose to install "ALL"
LILO starts great on boot and Linux boots to the command prompt.
I chose to install KDE and GNOME
From the command prompt I type "startx"
It tries to start but all at once the display goes bizerk!!
Looks like someone took 20 different colors and sprayed the screen with
a spray gun.

Mandrake seem to handle my display fine.
I did have a problem however trying to install FC3 and Suse 9.2
I installed Susi 9.1 no problem.
Does anyone have any theories what might be going on here?
