i just added a rc.wirelessup script in /etc/rc.d/ and have it run at
startup, works fine. i have it dhcpd from my network though since my
wifi router is set up for it. that for me imo is the most convenient
way of doing it, i can always chmod -x my script if i'm not on my
network for a while, and if it doesn't detect my card at startup it
doesn't run the script.
