Thank you. Funny, I never think of IDE as a bus. I imagined '-Y'
shutdown would also Hi-Z the bus. Last three HDDs I buy are SATA,
no have same problem. Not that I want hotswap, prefer backups to
different machines, drives. Projects go off-site as well...
