If you already have RH9 on it, you could also try to install Gentoo from
within it. I installed my two Gentoo boxes through RH7.2 and Knoppix,
respectively. Of course the RH "upgrade" was done onto new hard disks.
It might be a bit more tricky if you plan on keeping the same disks ...
