Will opengl cause problems with running kde? Right now I'm in the process of upgrading kde to 3.5.5, and I've gotten
problems with kdesktop and kscreensaver with error messages similar to:
/usr/lib/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_nv001215gl'
There would be at least 3 or 4 lines, each with a different reference. In
order to get the compiling going again, I would do a:
eselect opengl set xorg-x11.
Normally, I'm running the 8776 version nvidia-drivers, which I switch back
to after the compiling is done. But now I'm wondering; since I'll be
running with a different libGL than the one I compiled with, will that
cause any problems while running?
Thanks,
