Default mkszfile -f Creates /image.data

My image.dat is missing from my root hard drive. Can I just create another set using
mkszfile -f Creates /image.data without any problem?

Yes. As a matter of fact, once the mksysb is done running, you can
even delete it, provided you run the next mksysb with the option to
re-create it. You do not need that file for normal system operation.
