Dears,
Have any one of you encounter the P77 monitor problems with GXT4500P
graphics adapter card.
In my case it appears that probably the monitor and card are nearly
incompatible.Problem is that monitor is ok (working fine with other
RS6000 machine and windows pc)...card appears ok as IBM has replaced
the graphics card with a new one from stock but problem remains there
and also a p76 monitor is working with same graphics adapter on same
risc machine (p630 ).
Now the problem is that as soon as we connect P77 with GXT4500P on
P630 it become periodically blanks for short periods of time and then
sceen appears and then blanks.
A dongle is also present between P77 and GXT4500P as direct
connectivity is not possible between the two.However IBM has also
replaced the dongle but problem unsolved.
Have any body of you are familiar with this kind of problem.
AIX 5.2 fresh installed on p630 but the problem was also found on
AIX5.1 ML04.
Any ideas????
