Hello list,
is there any experience in tuning Large Page Support in AIX 5.x?
The machine to be tuned looks like this:
AIX 5.1 ML04 32-Bit
Oracle 8.1.7
SAP
I'd like to tune the Size of the memory Pages from 4k to a higher
level. (vmtune -g/vmtune-L)
Has anyone done this before?
How are his settings?

Why do you want to use large pages with Oracle?

Hello Nicholas,
there are very large Tables in SAP in the Oracle Database.
Have you got bad experiences tuning the Parameter on Oracle Machines?
