| Hi David, I have a Sun Ultra 5 with a Compaq V700 Monitor that works fine. Now I wanted to to replace the big V700 with a TFT display, but then the screen goes black. What I did is: "m64config -res 1280x1024@76" This is what my TFT supports. Output of " m64config -propt" : --- OpenWindows Configuration for /dev/fbs/m640 --- OWconfig: machine Video Mode: 1280x1024x75 Depth: 8 So the modification seems succesful, but after a reboot the screen is still black! Output of " fbinfo": m64B@2 is PGX 1152x900 (Why do I see here still the old resolution?) What do I need to do to get the TFT working with the Ultra 5? Will it be possible to see the Sun booting on the TFT is the ultimate result to see the Xserver. Any idea? Dick |

Try o set up a lower frame rate. -- EMail:joerg@schily.isdn.cs.tu-berlin.de (home) Jörg Schilling D-13353 Berlin js@cs.tu-berlin.de (uni) If you don't have iso-8859-1 schilling@fokus.fraunhofer.de (work) chars I am J"org Schilling URL: http://www.fokus.fraunhofer.de/usr/schilling ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/schily |
