Default cdrw -b on DVD-RW, solaris 9

Hello, all.

I'm new to the group so pardon my ignorance.

Issue on Solaris 9 on a Netra 240. My customer is using cdrw -b all to blank
a new DVD-RW disk. She is only getting 680 MB of useable space, the default
for a CD instead of a DVD. The command cdrw -C -b doesn't work. I am
somewhat at a loss as I do not have a local machine to test on. Any ideas
what we are missing here?

Is there another flag or something that needs to be done, or a separate
format before the blanking?

thanks,
