Job Responsibilities:
Provide hardware and OS support for an IBM Aix, HP-UX, Red Hat Linux
and Sun Solaris
infrastructure.
Build and configure UNIX servers.
Provide ongoing UNIX Administration functions including support for
NFS, NIS, Kerberos,
LDAP, SSH, FTP, Ethernet, DNS, network and storage interfaces, patch
analysis, file system
and storage configuration, UNIX scripting, troubleshooting, and
problem resolution.
Provide UNIX support and Software Package installation for Business
Application teams.
Implement Security policies on UNIX Servers and perform security
audits.
Provide on call support for 24x7 Systems availability on a rotation
basis.
Provide UNIX support for Technology Services partners including
Security, Storage
Management, Backup and Recovery, and Network Management.
