yes.

Warning: iostat -En counters are only reseted after a reboot. If you
change a hard-disk without rebooting, serial number and counters will
still belong to the replaced disk.

Check "ERROR" in /var/adm/message

Hi Alain,

Thank you for your answer.

OK.I will check messages file.
Can I ask one more question? If there is no error message in /var/adm/
messages,the disk is not critical?

Thank you for your help.

Today i have aks Sun to replace a disk: no warning or error in
/var/adm/messages but iostat -En return a "predictive" warning.
Sun has replaced this disk.

Good to know. I had "predictive" warning twice in /var/adm/messages.
Maybe that was after system reboot.
