How to install Debian over telnet?

Is there a way to install Debian over either Telnet or SSH?

What OS do you have on the remote Machine? Maybe it can be done if you
have a spare partition where you install Debian.
Maybe also with an Debian-Boot-CD with a running SSH-Server.

Btw: Why would you like to do that?
