| I'm sure this is asked quite often, but how in the world can I get the official ATI Drivers to work and be able to enable 3D Acceleration? I've got a Radeon 9200SE. I've tried building the custom package with ATI's installer, but after doing that, the screen flashes several times before taking me to the command line "interface." I've seen a few websites out there describing how to do it, but they mention recompiling the kernel and I'd much rather not do that. Is there an easy way or at least an easier tutorial on getting ATI drivers working? Thanks. -Ryan |

It should be supported in accelerated 3D, see http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/ATIRadeon for more information about seting up etc. |
