| Greetings, Finally made the jump to 9.0 from what I think was Slack 4.0 (it's been a while). Unfortunately, things haven't been running quite as smooth as they once did. I downloaded the latest stable version of NEdit source, compiled it, and it runs fine under X. However, when running under X-Win32 5.4 under Win2k, I get bizarre menu behavior. I also get similar (though not quite the same) behavior from the stock GEdit binary (again, fine under X). The precompiled NEdit binary for Linux I downloaded works just fine, though, so I don't think it's an (entirely) X-Win32 problem. Besides, both applications worked fine when I was running Slack 4.0. Any ideas where to start? I'm thinking possibly a faulty library in 9, but I don't know enough to be sure, just enough to be dangerous. Thanks, --Terrence |
