| I have a sparc server running solaris 9 and have just installed x11vnc which seemed to go fine. But it seems that I have done something wrong since I get a failure when I try to start it. tjansson@server$ x11vnc -display :0.0 07/09/2006 14:38:49 x11vnc version: 0.7pre lastmod: 2004-12-23 07/09/2006 14:38:55 XOpenDisplay failed (:0.0) I have found that this problem is that x11vnc connects to a real X11 session, which I guess isn't running. I think I would be better to have a normal vnc server for solaris, but I can't seem to find any at http://www.sunfreeware.com/ What would you recommend me to do? Is there another vnc server for solaris 9 or is there a way to make x11vnc when the server isn't connect physically to a monitor, keyboard and mouse? Kind regards Thomas Jansson |

You can then set it up so that dtlogin starts Xvnc. --tim |

It just seems so strange that it is so hard to find the vncserver for solaris? |

Guess the server doesn't have all the SFW software anyways. |
