| Hi, We have a backup problem and i need your opinion. We backed up our online 5.10 DS level zero and logical log separately at 31.12.2006 with tbtape (ontape) utility. And at 01.01.2007 we backed up our DS separately again. And than we realized that we used same tape for both of level zero. The problem is; we must restore system to 31.12.2006, so is it possible or is there any way to do that? TIA Deniz Karakus |

"TAPEA" So, you do not have a copy of the system at 31st December 2006 - that is it. The answer is "No". As an ex-operator : Label tapes after writing to them, not before using them (think it through Write protect tapes after writing to them and labelling them "Behind you" - hindsight is so wonderful. |
