| I thought onarchive was a dead product. Advantages of onbar: - Archive to multiple and virtual devices - Point-in-time restore - Unattended backups (I know everyone does them with ontape, but it's *really* not designed for them) - Compliance to industry standards to allow you to interface to backup products like Omniback and Veritas - so you could integrate your Unix and IDS backups if you wanted ... and loads more. Ontape is easy but it's very primitive. Onarchive is not something anyone will shed any tears over. Disadvantages of onarchive: You are unlikely to be able to restore using it. |
