I am testing Linux on my compaq laptop.

Mandrake installed ok except for problem with wireless card.

I downloaded a copy of 9..1 Suse. Install looked excellent. It picked
up the wireless card and everything else.

Then I went to final reboot after install. After Suse splash page,
screen went blank. It beeped a minute later and I/O light stopped
blinking so I am assuming it was up and ready. However I had a blank
screen.

So per a FAQ from somewhere, I went out and reinstalled using 800x600
rather than 1600x600?? (default), Still no good. It is a ATI Radeon
Video Card.

Any suggestion?
