A CD stage3, GRP install of 1.4.

VIDEO_CARDS="rage128" emerge xfree-drm works fine, including preceding
mirror downloads but it fails on the virtual font patch mirror at Oregon
State University. I did Not mirrorselect Oregon State.

1. Where can I change the mirror from Oregon State?
2. In what file do I change the mirror timeout time from 3?
3. How will I know the mirrors are working b4 I try another install?

Type in the Live CD:

# mirrorselect -i -o >> /mnt/gentoo/etc/make.conf

And pick your mirrors.

Then type:

# nano /mnt/gentoo/etc/make.conf

....and edit the file to make sure that it is the way you want it.

The mirrors will be at the bottom of the file.
