Default kmix

Hello,
Yesterday I upgrade my alsa to 1.0.8 and now i have problem with kmix.
Kmix crashes (always with Signal 11) when I close/start for example amarok,
somethimes it crashes systematically after a certain time (few secs).

Here's a part of the stack dump:
[New Thread 16384 (LWP 9449)]
0x412d81a8 in waitpid () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
#0 0x412d81a8 in waitpid () from /lib/libpthread.so.0

Any sugestions or ideas?

Which version of Kmix ? As this is quite hard to track, you should maybe
contact the Kmix team.

Otherwise you can also chose not to use kmix. A while back I had trouble
configuring kmix to correctly select my ALSA devices for recording. - Since
then I have been using kamix instead:

jt@tranholm jt $ emerge -s kamix

Same problem here with the same version.
KMix crashes when I run XMMS, but works fine when I rerun it after the crash.
Started to happen after last 'emerge world'.
