| Hi All, I need the group help on this issue (Informix support doesn't seems to help). OS is window2000 RAM 3GB 2 CPU Informix 7.31 TD3.1 For some reason informix cannot accept new connections or serve existing connections. No command except onstat -???? is working. The only way to continue is to restart the server. Cannot stop the informix services. I have been running the onstat -a command while this append but really i cannot say what is the problem. This happens random ones every week. I attached the onconfig file and the onstat -a output . The server is running only informix. Any help or guides will be more then appreciate Thanks Shay ;---------Onstat -a ---------------------------------------------- Informix Dynamic Server Version 7.31.TD1 -- On-Line -- Up 4 days 00:13:03 -- 621376 Kbytes Message Log File: C:\informix\paxys.log in stored procedure cannot be executed because user "informix" did not connect with a password. 12:31:59 Checkpoint Completed: duration was 0 seconds. 12:31:59 Checkpoint loguniq 11118, logpos 0x232018 12:32:18 Logical Log 11118 Complete. 12:32:18 Logical Log 11118 - Backup Started 12:32:18 Logical Log 11118 - Backup Completed 12:35:01 System() command "onmode -z 4636" in stored procedure cannot be executed because user "informix" did not connect with a password. 12:35:01 System() command "echo 'sesid=4636 pnr_no=0 dur=S sesstart=2003-12-15 05:41:39" in stored procedure cannot be executed because user "informix" did not connect with a password. 12:35:17 Logical Log 11119 Complete. 12:35:17 Logical Log 11119 - Backup Started 12:35:18 Logical Log 11119 - Backup Completed 12:37:26 Checkpoint Completed: duration was 0 seconds. log12:37:26 Checkpoint uniq 11120, logpos 0x10f018 Configuration File: C:\informix/etc/ONCONFIG.paxys #************************************************* ************************* # # INFORMIX SOFTWARE, INC. # # Title: onconfig.std # Description: Informix Dynamic Server Configuration Parameters # #************************************************* ************************* # Root Dbspace Configuration ROOTNAME rootdbs # Root dbspace name ROOTPATH d:\IFMXDATA\paxys\rootdbs # Path for device containing root dbspace ROOTOFFSET 0 # Offset of root dbspace into device (Kbytes) ROOTSIZE 700000 # Size of root dbspace (Kbytes) # Disk Mirroring Configuration Parameters MIRROR 0 # Mirroring flag (Yes = 1, No = 0) MIRRORPATH # Path for device containing mirrored root MIRROROFFSET 0 # Offset into mirrored device (Kbytes) # Physical Log Configuration PHYSDBS rootdbs # Location (dbspace) of physical log PHYSFILE 15000 # Physical log file size (Kbytes) # Logical Log Configuration LOGFILES 30 # Number of logical log files LOGSIZE 3000 # Logical log size (Kbytes) LOG_BACKUP_MODE MANUAL # Logical log backup mode (MANUAL, CONT) # Diagnostics MSGPATH C:\informix\paxys.log # System message log file path CONSOLE C:\informix\conpaxys.log # System console message path ALARMPROGRAM # Alarm program path # System Diagnostic Script. # SYSALARMPROGRAM - Full path of the system diagnostic script (e.g. # c:\informix\etc\evidence.bat.) | Hi Zafar, Thanks for the fast replay, All my procedures are owned by informix and this works fine for all our customers. The problem is random and i cannot point to specific action on the server to perform this action. The stringed thing is that i cannot activate informix commands accept onstat ??? command. The CPU is free while this append , and memory also. Need help urgent, Thanks Shay mazafar4@ureach.com (Zafar) wrote in message news:<b9f918b9.0312151414.1abe09b8@posting.google. com>... > It seems there is some procedure which is owned by Informix.
