Hi Friends (again) .!

I wonder if I perform a "update statistics" statement will decrease the performance of my server? I have HP-UX rx5670 B.11.23 U ia64 3861480093 unlimited-user license . This Company works 24 hours a day, and from the 12:00 AM to 06:00 AM the activities are low.
What you advise to me ?
