| That's put the cat amongst the pigeons for me. We were just in the throws of negotiating a move to R3 to drastically reduce our license and support costs. I'll certainly be trying to find out more about the development roadmap and support options going forward from my account manager tomorrow. Does this mean that the development team at CA are all going to move to the new organisation? The inclusion of several ex senior Oracle staff is encouraging that they mean serious business with this. Don't know quite what to think about that yet, but Garnett & Helfrich do have a pretty good reputation. They specialize in "salvage". They buy good technologies from companies where they have failed to thrive and turn them around. I was assured that all support options, including Follow The Sun style support, would remain available from Ingres corp. > Does this mean that the development team at CA are > all going to move to the new organisation? Many of them, yes. CA will keep some Ingres knowledge on board since they're banking quite heavily on Ingres themselves, but everyone that I've personally had contact with in the past seems to be moving to Ingres corp.
