Default Dell Latitude D410 and knoppix

Does anyone know how to boot knoppix on a Dell Latitude D410? Knoppix
3.9, after an initial load (from the CDROM) to the "boot:" prompt,
fails to find the CDROM at /dev/hda... The D410 uses a "mediabase"
for the CDROM; it is not an integrated part of the motherboard.

Thanks,
Jim

I have tested Knoppix 3.7. As soon possible a will test the new 3.9 (it's
now on downloading...)
Have you look at the boot options by pressing on F2 or F3 key ? Try some
options and say of this will help you. I think that there are options for
laptop ? Some of screen resolution. I think that tere are a problemen with
the resolution or screen of the laptop. A seach in google : Dell Latitude
D410, it show a lapton. It's on a laptop you try Knoppix 3.9 ?

After testing the Knoppix 3.9 he will also not boot correctly on my PC. I
have a working Knoppix 3.7 and with this i have no problems, but not 3.9
will not work. With the 3.9 i can run it with the bootoptions (pressing F3
key on startup) only if i choose for 'failsave'
I anybody help ?
