Default AMANDA Backup by CD-R

Dear All:
I would like to do a full backup with AMANDA.
I google and find I should install CDRW-Taper module .
http://www.tivano.de/software/amanda/Installation.shtml
However I do not understand how to use.
It says "Rename the original taper binary that comes with Amanda to
e.g.taper.orig"
What does it means?
I use CentOS 4.1,should I put taperlib.pm intoto /etc/amanda?
Thanks.

Regards.
